X-Bracing
The X-brace is designed to provide lateral stability and is required on every free-standing unit and on every other unit of shelving in a run. Braces are made from two 18-gauge, ¾ inch galvanized steel strips. The ends are predrilled and attached to the rear of the uprights using the hex head screws (supplied). Units 10 feet and above require two x-braces.
